Who we are

Mydigitalplayground.net is an online mini-store and artist portfolio site based in Florida created by an award winning local artist. The content creator has a wide variety of interest they work with but strives to include queer and LGBTQ+ themes as a main focus because the believe representation matters. Work contained on this site has been curated in order to showcase understanding of best-in-use business standards and skills and proficiency in: graphic design, photography, illustration,  product design, typography, and web design.

Comments

Comments may not be currently enabled on the site however, when visitors leave comments, messages, or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, including the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string in order to help spam detection.

 

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

As a single-owner company, there’s nobody we want to share your data with for profit. Your data is safe with us because we’re too small and don’t have the inclination to sell it. We’re too busy making our own stuff to worry about selling your information too!

If you request a password reset from the store, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, review, or message, it’s content and metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up information automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

 

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. All registered users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception that you cannot change your username).

What data can you request from us

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

What rights you have over your data

Visitor comments, reviews, and messages may be checked through a third-party automated spam detection service.

Data collected from plugins

While this site collects information provided by users in order to work, we also use plugins that may collect additional data that we don’t have access to and/or elect not to collect. In any situation where you request information that we have not collected from you, but was obtained by a plugin, you will be required to contact the third-party.
